Stretched canvas
- 330-380gsm premium higher density woven cotton duck (non-synthetic)
- medium-fine structure
- balanced absorbency to improve adhesion

- specially crafted bevelled stretcher bar with a side bolster (keeps the canvas from making direct contact with the front of the stretcher bar)

Iridescent medium
- Mix with paint to give it an iridescent finish, or use on its own to add surface highlights.
I use iridescent medium in a lot of my paintings to highlight particular areas and produce an additional layer to my work, which is more subtle than paints. It's application is particularly evident in Abstract Bloom 7 and Union
Glass beading
- Liquitex Glass Beads are made of actual glass in an acrylic gel medium
Glass beads were used in Monochrome wing and Eyes to produce beautiful textured quality.

Hardwood pressed paper -
- Each sheet of paper is made from pressed hardwood pulp.
- This hardwood pulp texture is great for absorbing paint.
- The thickness of each sheet is 200 GSM.
- Every sheet included in this set is 100% acid-free.

Rice paper for Japanese/Chinese calligraphy and sumi-e painting
- Made in Japan from rice, wood fibre and leaves, 160gsm
Layers of rice paper are used to add a subtle texture to the pieces Twilight. and Rolling sky, it aided the application of the inks.
