Butterflies are one of the few representational subject matters that I am ever drawn to paint. I am fascinated by the power such a delicate creature can embody aesthetically.
This is a mixed medium contemporary butterfly canvas. It has been painted using high quality acrylic paints and highligted through the use of soft chalk pastels. The use of the vibrant orange complimented by the electric blue makes this a bold, colourful piece of original artwork which would brighten up any home or office.
The edges of the canvas are neatly painted and it is already strung up with d-rings and picture cord, so all you need is a picture hook and the perfect place to hang it!

All pieces of art are shipped from the UK. Shipping within the UK will be free of charge.
For overseas sales the delivery will be workout at the point of sale. All paintings sent overseas will be removed from the wooden stretcher bars and sent in a cardboard tube. This is done to reduce the chance of damage during transit, and to reduce the delivery charge. Customers are responsible for duties and taxes. Any customs charges for international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
Returns are accepted only if the artwork is damaged in transit. In this case please email katiedaw101@hotmail.com within 14 days of receiving the artwork and provided photos of the damaged painting and packaging. At this point a return and refund will be arranged.
As the artist, I own the copyright of the artwork and therefore may at any time produce prints from the artwork.
